Nana Banana Mini Wallet

When: 3pm-5pm, Friday, September 25th

In this class we will make the Nana Banana Mini Wallet, a versatile unisex small, raw edge wallet which packs a big punch despite its size. Measuring 4” W x 3.25” T, it’s small enough to fit in your pocket - even women’s clothing pockets!! - yet has room for all of your essentials. Featuring four (4) card slots and a zippered cash / coin pocket, the Nana Banana Mini Wallet is:

SKILL LEVEL: Beginner friendly - kids 12+ welcome with adult supervision

FINISHED DIMENSIONS: 4" W x 3.5" T 

RECOMMENDED FABRICS: Vinyl, cork (if not purchasing kit)

General material requirements:

• 4” x 18” Vinyl, cork, leather, or other non-fray material
• 4” - #3 or #5 zipper by the yard (#3 recommended)
• 1 - #3 or #5 zipper pull (#3 recommended) 

Required tools:

• Rotary cutter or scissors
• Thread Snips
• Marking tool – erasable / removable
• Clips
• Ruler
• Seam ripper
• Seam roller
• 1/8 inch DST or glue (optional but strongly recommended)
• Bag label (optional)

A code will be given for all paid attendees to “purchase” the pattern with PDF and SVG files from the Made by L website in advance of the class. NO KITS WILL BE PROVIDED BY THE INSTRUCTOR, AND ATTENDEES MUST COME TO CLASS WITH ALL PATTERN PIECES CUT OUT AND FULLY PREPARED TO START SEWING. There will be no time allotted for prepping materials, so please be sure to prepare your own kits ahead of time. There will be enough time in the class for up to two (2) wallets to be sewn IF using the same thread.
