Frequently Asked Questions

When you place an order with us, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail which contains a link to view your order status. If you created an account with us when placing your order, you may log into your account and view it under the My Orders tab.  

• Pre-ordered items may only be returned for refund if there is a significant flaw. These returns must be done within 7 days of receiving your order and you the cost of shipping will be deducted from the return. You may also be offered store credit or a discount depending on the flaw.
• Retail vinyls may only be returned for refund if there is a significant flaw. These returns must be done within 7 days of receiving your order.
• Cancelled pre-orders are subject to 30% cancellation fee due to the fact that we will have already placed the order to our manufacturer.
• Retail "Makes" are handmade goods and as such may not be returned.
• Custom orders may not be returned. Cancellations of custom orders are subject to their non-refundable deposit. 

We offer full vinyl yards, which is much larger than most specialty vinyl sellers in the US. We ship all vinyl orders rolled in tubes to help prevent creasing and folds during transit. Due to the shipping method, the cost of shipping can sometimes be higher than flat-rate boxes. While we do our best to ensure the shipping fee you are charged is accurate, Shopify sometimes miscalculates shipping and we will refund any overage fees that are greater than $1. Additionally, if we go to ship your item and the cost of shipping ends up being more than what you were charged by more than $1 we may send you an invoice to pay the remaining shipping balance before we send you your item(s)

Bulk Hardware Shipping is invoiced after purchase, and prior to shipping. This is because hardware is very heavy, and must be shipped in a Flat Rate mailer to keep your costs low, but Shopify's settings do not allow more than one default package size which means an order of 20 swivel clips and another order of 300 swivel clips would be charged the same based on Shopify's limited settings. By purchasing BULK HARDWARE you are agreeing that you will be invoiced for shipping after checkout, but before fulfillment.

Turn-Around Time for pre-orders is may vary so please refer to the preorder page of the items you are purchasing for the most accurate TAT. TAT for Retail items is up to 10 business days. Currently, our usual shipping days are Thursdays and Fridays. 

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me if you placed an order and haven't received shipping notification when I've updated the group - Impish Geek Designs - saying that all orders have shipped. It could be that the round I was talking about did not include your order, your email is wrong in the order, or I made a mistake and did not print your shipping label. • All vinyl is shipped rolled in tube boxes.
• Regular hardware is shipped in bubble poly mailers, unless combined with vinyl which will result in them shipping in the same box as the vinyl.
• Fabric is shipped folded in flat rate bubble mailer or boxes, double-wrapped to keep moisture out as much as possible.
• We do our absolute best to ensure that your item(s) do not get damaged during transit, but once the item is in the hands of the carrier we have no control over how they handle your items and cannot be held responsible for damages outside of our control. 

Creasing can occur from being folded during the shipping process, but it is easily fixed. We've made a video tutorial with tips and instructions on how to iron the creasing from your vinyl.
