This is not real velvet. Your eyes are indeed deceiving you with this vinyl, it mimics the appearance of crushed velvet but is smooth as silk vinyl. It shimmers, shines, and impresses at every angle. A few of the colors have color-shift properties to them as well, which are notated with an * next to them if they do.
